the new canon IP series gets very good reviews. look at the IP 4000, (4000R if you want wireless) or IP5000. Also look at HP, but avoid Epson and Lexmark like the plague as they are destined to break and cost a fortune. Also canon's scanners are very good, i have an old N670U and its still going strong.

And yet another one to recommend Canon. I've always found them decent, but Epsons, in my experience, have always been annoying, loud and generally not very good.

Got to agree about Lexmark, it was cheap but it certainly profits in the ink cartridge department . I'll certainly be going with Canon next time.

ive got two hp printers and a cannon. my previous printer (hp psc 750) laster three years, but the drawback about it was the cost of the ink cartridges. the cannon on the other hand has cheap ink cartridges but they are quite a bit smaller than the hp cartridges.
