Slightly related, but going by the reviews listed above, the Logitech G502 looks to be a good all-rounder, and for the next couple of hours is £33 at Amazon as part of their lightning deal.

I'd be very surprised if it was. The Echelon will likely be similar to the STRIX Claw, though a touch cheaper.

IMO normal AA or AAA battery is way better having tried both. Never stuck with proprietary tech.

Re: Any alternative to logitech mice?

I've been using Mice pretty much since the first 2-button mouse (i.e. non-Mac) came out. For the last 20ish years I've stuck to Logitech for a few simple reasons:

    1. The Customer Service is second to none - I haven't even had to buy a mouse for years, as the last two times I had a failure Logitech replaced it with a more up-to-date model FOC

    2. They work seamlessly with everything I've thrown at them

    3. It's smoother than a virgin's thigh (if such exists)

    4. Despite dire predictions by numerous people, my wireless Logitech mouse (and keyboard) works instantly; all the time (uhuh, even when booting up)

Last time I bought one was the best buy I ever made; except maybe that cashmere suit I bought on Black Friday, US stylee, that had been accidentally given the wrong price tag ($750-> $150).

Gotta say every time I need a new mouse I look at other makes but I always end up buying Logitech.

Re: Any alternative to logitech mice?

    G700S £37.12 delivered via Amazon.fr

Above price is using Amazon's own currency conversions system, potentially cheaper via a currency conversion friendly CC.

IMO only other one I considered when selecting the G700S was SteelSeries Sensei Wireless, but wasn't prepared to pay the price and thought the G700S was better.

Re: Any alternative to logitech mice?

I've been using the G502 for the past year-ish and having come from super-lightweight "silent" mice (I had misophonia from mouse clicks) it's surprised me how using a good quality mouse can make a difference. Has anyone here used an MX Master? I recently purchased one on a good deal and am looking forward to using it on the go with my laptop.
