    Question Best Supplier/Support

Where do you buy your kit ? And which of them offer good to excellent support IF it all goes wrong.

I know you have to shop around, but you guys/gals must have your favourites right ? I just want to get an idea of where most of you shop for your kit.

Maybe if you put them in order of component/supplier preference it might help other newbies as well:

    CPU - Scan (for example)
    HDD - OCUK (etc etc)

    Cheers

Usually from Scan over the years. Never actually had anything go wrong so cannot comment about their after-sales services!

As per agent says, but i find if i'm buying a complete rig in components i prefer to buy from one place and usually find it cheaper that was as the cost of shipping comes down and gets me much greater support.

Otherwise its from a list of few that I trust.

Thanks for the list mate ! Didn't see that on the website. Also thanks to all the other replies.

Seems like Scan and Komplett are some of the fav's.

Ive been to OCUK and its a horrible place. They have about 4-5 support staff in the back. Your lucky if you get a grunt of the staff. I got given the wrong product by mistake once and went back to return it. The bloke said "ok" took the item off me , returned 10 mins later and give me a replacement. Never said anything else, no "sorry about that sir" , not even a goodbye. Just moved onto the next mug.

www.overclockers.co.uk, at a guess. But this isnt the place guys, please use the raiting system linked above, we are trying to keep as much of this off the forums as we can.

Best Support? KustomPcs Damn i have yet to find anyone/place more helpful!!!

I mostly buy from Kustom and Ebuyer now, Kustom are great for little nick knacks and can get hold of a lot of stuff for you, just email the guys!

Ebuyer for generic stuff, stuff that i wont need support with, they have a track record for bad deliveries, products etc.

    Otherwise i look around!

ebuyer bad deliveries ? all sorted now(they upgrade my deliveries to next day from super saver most of the time for free ) ! i would buy every thing from ebuyer *unless*
a: it is cheaper somewhere else
b: the don't have it(most of the time they this is the case)

i do agree rma is a bit of a pain with them, and the staff don't know what they are on about(those who reply ur e notes).
Other tan taht i will buy from anystore if the price and del is right

I hear all these horror stories about dabs, but I've used them a fairbit and never had any probs with them. I returned a faulty DVD-RW with no problems at all, took about a week from start to finish.

    I like TekHeads too.
