hi, my friend is asking me to help her upgrade memory...I need your help

I have been looking around, but can't get a definite answer.

The thing is, she wants to upgrade her existing laptop memory (being PC100 CL2 128 MB) by adding another module (PC133 CL3 256MB)...

The question is, will these two modules work with full compatibility? Because the PC133 is much cheaper than PC100 (strange...)....

And the matter is urgent because her laptop harddisk is being tortured by this Windows XP monster every day....(ya know that -.-).....

    Thanks for your help!!

Its not a rule, but a lot of decent memory either did PC100 @ CL2, or PC133@CL3, so the chances are if you run it at PC100 you'll get CL2 out of it.
Your best bet is to buy some direct from crucial, they may still sell CL2 PC100 RAM too.

Even if it wont to CL2, just knock it upto CL3, its not a huge difference.
