@ asus if enough people moan about it in there forums they will release a new bios maybe or someone will mod one for the users !

the abit forums have loads of modded bioses for loads of different setups great support in there forum!

42 quid thats class for such a good board and with the luvly soundstorm

tempting to buy one to give my old xp 1700 another throw of the dice and use it as a storage server and 24/7 downloading box up in the loft , watercooled ofcourse

Yea, I liked the board, but I've been having issues with clocking the ram at 200Mhz, if i do, the system wont power down, it will go in a 'sleep' state instead, and it doesn't stay stable with demanding tasks (video encoding).. i'm pretty pissed, i'm almost considering sending both the board and cpu back to overclockers.. (assuming i ever get through to them) and get them to send me an AMD64 cpu and mobo, just waiting on what Asus has to say about my descovery.. its freaking pissing me off something stupid, I wanted to install Gentoo on my old computer as a file/dev server as soon as i got the new system up and running.. $%*&%^ why can things never *just work*!?

ive been fairly lucky with mine no such probs are your temps ok and how about memtest and prime 95 ?

mines isnt prime95 stable i dont think but i dont care i can play games for hours and i can rar files time after time for hours on end and the pc runs for days on end without being restarted

but its a good excuse to go with amd64 stuff , im just holding of for the next few months me thinks but id love one just now lol

yea, i havn't been able to stress test anything because i've been spending the last 2 weeks tearing my hair out while trying to figure out why the board wasn't responding to ACPI power down requests

*edit* temps are low, voltages rock solid *pats his Tagen PSU*.. just got a faulty northbridge i guess
