I'm ****ting myself over the Hiper PSU now...
Seemed to be alright in the reviews, so I hope it lasts a while before anything dodgy creeps in. *crosses fingers*

I think you've answered your own question there my friend!! Do I detect someone fishing for some justification to blow some cash.

Personally I only upgrade when I have to and leave the p***ing up the wall competitions to those that want to.

I can vouch for the Tagan 480w - very quiet, very stable, loads of connectors, inc 2 sata, 1 dedicated gfx, has a 24 pin power connector for future/servers.

When I upgrade my rig this psu will go into it and I'll use my old (noisy) psu in this rig and use it as a server/2nd pc.

    Lightbulb PSU tests

In light of recent findings, i'm planning on immediately returning my Hiper 425w PSU before i even use it, and going for a Tagen 480w.

    Here's my source:

A great test of many available PSUs. Hope others find this as beneficial as me!
