Best Cinebench Score?

What's the best Cinebench Score you ever gotten for me it was with my Ryzen 5 1600 overclocked only by 200mhz and with a score of 1496

I only just chucked a new CPU in mine last night. A 5960X with a Quick 'n' Dirty overclock of 4.6GHz.
Got it home, briefly ran Cinebench and then went to bed, as it was gone 5am!!

IIRC, my multi-core score was something past the 1700s. Single core was about 147, but I have eight of them.
Previous score on Q&D'ed 3570K was maybe 1400-something...?
I don't think I bothered benching the 5820K J batch I just relinquished, though...

That is a Ryzen 5 2600 at stock clockspeeds,Wraith Spire stock cooler and 3200MHZ C14 RAM.

Clockspeed was around the 3.5GHZ level IIRC.

The score in the OP says 8C/16T so did you have one of those rare Ryzen 5 1600 CPUs which shipped with 8 cores?? Saw some people on Reddit talk about those!

Yea i did I got extremely lucky. it runs faster than some Ryzen 7s!

If you want a laugh, try benchmarking an i5 packed into a 2011 Macbook Air.

The throttling is just hilarious. It's fine for its intended use which is to provide short burts of poke to open word quickly but you just try encoding a video on it....
