I think you also need to select a RAID-0 configuration in your BIOS first.

Is the raid partition formatted yet?
Either that or windoze is seeing Raid 0+1 or just Raid1.

The master/slave settings are set by jumpers on the rear of the drive.

Which chipset are you using for the raid array ?

If you are using the Nvidia Raid - then make sure this is enabled in the BIOS ( a lot of people forget this and then complain when it doesn't work ) and also when you press F6 to load the drivers there are actually TWO drivers you need to load up.

    Nvidia RAID CLASS DRIVER
    Nvidia Nforce Storage Controller
(or similar named - due to driver revisions)

If the 2 drivers are not loaded on the windows installation, when you come to reboot the system to continue setup the system simply hangs.

    Hope this helps

Edit - As for jumpers - there is no MASTER/SLAVE with SATA and therefore the jumpers are not required.

One way round it may be to go with the installation with just the one drive, & then once windows is installed, see if you cant access the second drive thro the drive manager?
