Hi everyone,
Been away for some time and I was wondering whether there are still issues when building the SN41G2... (in terms of memory and cpu)
Thanks for a reply.

Memory - theres issues with EVERY motherboard out there and memory.
CPU - Not that I know of (XP wise).
Laptop - Macbook Pro Retina 13" (Early 2015) i5/8GB/256GB
Desktop 1 - iMac 27" (late 2012) i7/32GB/1TB Fusion Drive
Desktop 2 - i7 2600K/32GB/1TB/GTX 760
Server - HP DL160 G6 2 x Hex Core Xenon x5650/64GB/8TB
NAS - ASUSTOR 604T ATOM Dual Core/3GB/16TB
Memory = very fussy. You need good memory.
CPU - not heard of any problems. You can't change ANYTHING except the fsb though if you want to overclock.
My Shuttle I just build for someone (SN41G2 in Black) with an XP2400 and 1 x 512MB TwinMOS PC3200 memory was unstable as hell using onboard graphics, crashed all the time, garbage on the screen when moving the mouse etc. So I installed a Radeon 8500 in the AGP slot and it's completely stable now.
From what I remember, they like Samsung Memory And my old one used PC2100 Crucial memory without a hitch. The onboard graphics just would not work with 1 x 512MB TwinMOS memory at all. Darn. But the 8500 is far better... and only cost £35 second hand, bargain!
Thanks for the replys.
Are Crucial memory sticks well recognised by the Shuttle SN41G2?
Is there any list of memory brand I should look for?

The shuttle I've just built with TwinMOS PC3200 is rock solid with an AGP Graphics card, but if you plan to use the onboard graphics, the computer wouldn't let me doing anything without artifacts appearing on the screen, then it locking up and randomly restarting.
In my old one I had 1 x 256MB PC2100 Crucial memory, and it was perfect, with onboard graphics too. However, from what I have read (when trying to find out why the one I just build was crashing) they are very fussy with memory brands, and Samsung is believed to be the best combination.
Hope this helps
Same here, my SN41G2 us running TwinMOS memory just fine.

I'm using Geil 3200 and it works fine here with 2 sticks...
All those of you having stability issues with the SN41G2...
Read my second post in here especially if you have updated the bios !!
I had very similar problems but I tracked down the source of my troubles
