    Gaming mouse recommandation

Any recommendation for a gaming mouse?

Ages ago I had Microsoft Sidewinder X8 and was I really happy with it.
Then I moved to G502 but now am getting double-clicking so have to replace it.

I've tried newer G502 but can't get over the rattle noise when you move the mouse side to side. This doesn't happen with G502 I own.

Any specific button requirements? If not, Logitech MX518 is still the golden standard.

Not a huge fan of how the MX518 looks like and the materials used - particularly the scroll wheel and the shiny surface.

I would like something that's a bit bigger so preferably not a claw grip.

Have you tried one? They're on the large side so more for palming than claw grip. But fair enough if you don't like how they look.

After having a chat with some of my friends I've decided to give Razer DeathAdder v2 a try.

I've had a lot of DeathAdder mice. The V2 is awesome, not had a single issue with it. When you first get it you'll notice that it's crazy light. I've had the DeathAdder Chroma (from 2011) which lasted until last yeah (scroll click failed). I also use the DeathAdder Elite as my work mouse but I wouldn't recommend it, I can see the scroll wheel going (the actual scroll rather than middle button) and it's only been 2.5 years which is disappointing. Also tried the Elite ergonomic but it felt really cheap and low quality so I returned it.

For the V2 though I'd expect it to last around 10 years again like the chroma. I think the first two mice (Chroma and Elite) had the side thumb grip come off after about 6 months (a little super glue will fix it) but the V2 has kinda embedded it into the body of the mouse so it can't come of unless you cut apart the plastic. You won't go wrong with the V2 as long as the ergonomics fit your hand and style of using the mouse.

    Re: Gaming mouse recommandation

Had the mouse for a few days now and first impressions are ....not great I'm affraid. It's lighter that I expected and "feels" cheaper, even though materials are great. The cable is braided but is loose, so if you're putting it through a mouse bungee it can be tricky to get it to "stick" in the bungee.

Ergonomics are not as great, at least for me. I find the grip when lifting the mouse is not that good and I find myself going to a claw grip rather than a palm one.
When gaming I can only comfortably use the back thumb button, but not the front thumb one. When browsing it's fine.

I had an issue with my system crashing when trying to install the Razer software over GHub. Uninstalling GHub sorted it.

If your budget is able to stretch, I do recommend the Logitech G Pro Wireless as it has served me well. There is a new superlight version but all my Razer products have died quickly so I do not recommend.

Always went Corsair without any problems, maybe a bit biased, but really enjoying the Scimitar Pro

That's a shame, can you return it? If so try the Corsair M65, I have one, a good mouse imo

Iv'e used loads of gaming mice and the best and my daily driver is the GPro wireless. Fantastic mouse if you get one with no double click issues.

I prefer using the Glorious mouses, such as the Model O. A decent priced mouse and lightweight.

I jumped from a G502 to a G Pro Wireless 1 year ago..at same time went from 3200dpi to 1600. Much better now.
