    Re: ITX case suggestions

Don't get something where the PSU is at the bottom with the GPU 2 slots above it, airflow is choked to the GPU.

If you absolutely must use an ATX PSU, then the Lian-li Q58 is probably what you should be looking at:

    Re: ITX case suggestions

Thats an interesting case I've never come across before.

For budget reasons I think I'm gonna go with a H1, this also means I can sell my old PSU (maybe get £40 back for it?) so effectively ~£100 for the case+SFX-L PSU.

I'll drop a thread in the classifieds in case anyone is selling one.

You're selling it? If so then I'd be interested in a price for the H1 (and maybe the 3600x)

Haha, nah, its a spare rig for the offspring but I've since been told by her in doors that the offspring doesn't have the space for a PC and is having an old Surface Pro 4 instead, always nice to know these things before you spend the money...

    Re: ITX case suggestions

Ended up with a H1, £140 for the case/aio/PSU, not too bad. Also requested the replacement riser from NZXT.

Thermals are OK so far, stressing the CPU with CpuZ now and it's only hitting 68C with a barely audible AIO fan. It's half the size of my Q300L, love it!

    Re: ITX case suggestions

I'd still be careful with the replacement riser, nylon screws perhaps, depends on what the replacement is..

    Re: ITX case suggestions

I'm not sure what the replacement looks like to be honest, I think it is properly tooled this time. Zip ties on there for now which will be fine.

    Re: ITX case suggestions

The replacement rsier doesn't have the copper layer all the way to screw hole, you'll be fine as long as it's a genuine replacement fron NZXT, which I believe were free to owners of the case.

    Re: ITX case suggestions

Got the riser, took about a week. Pretty impressed with the service (even though I realise they kinda HAVE to do it)

Anyone want to buy a slightly used, partially fire prone riser?
