I disagree. I am not a hardcore overclocker and I have found my DFI board quite useful.

The DFI has the best layout of the main socket 939 boards, so its not just overclocking its good for.

What about the MSI NF4 SLI board? Any good? I like the idea of their on board sound.

    DFI LANParty UT NF4 SLI-D
    DFI LANParty UT NF4 SLI-DR

Ok, what are the differences Am I right in thinking the UT means it has UV components? and the extra R means it has 8 SATA ports not 4 ?

All three have the UT, and yes that's UV component, in fact anything called LanParty have UV components. "R" is 4 more SATA with RAID.
