Does anyone have any experience of any of these mobos?

Abit AN8 Fatality
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/Diamond

I'm wanting a quite good overclocking board for my 3500+ winnie, but this is my first build, and to be honest I'm a bit frightened of buying the DFI It seems to be the best performing board, but it also seems to be the buggiest, and I would like my board to just run first time, not need a huge number of bios updates and tweeks...I'm more concerned with stability than the extra few MHz to be honest. I'll be buying an X850XT PE from Dell, so I'm not concerned about SLI in the slightest. My memory at the moment is cheap stuff, Geil Value, but I'll be upgrading it when I have the pennies. BH5 is a possibility, but the Abit doesn't seem to have the voltage for it? If anyone has any personal experience (I think I've read every review out there ) I'd be glad to hear it

The DFI is the best, i have not heard about many bugs. The fatality one is stupid, just a normal abit with a few hundered fans and leds. I think the DFI is the only mobo to have the high voltages. I too will be getting the DFI with the dell GPU.

The Fatality has red lights O_O, it overclocks within about 10-15Mhz of the DFI and the OTES fans seem like a good idea, if the OCZ ram booster thing is compatible. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/index.php is full of people complaining about the DFI bugs, although it is a help forum, so that could be somewhat biased . The random BSODs, random reboots, instability, memory compatability issues, driver compatibility issues, bugs with booting with USB devices plugged in, and a mysterious bug where the system gets more and more unstable as time goes on using overclocked memory were all too much for my first build I'd like to give it a go for another system though maybe

I have heard of plenty of DFI problems, just never experienced them.

I did have to do alot of tweaking to get my board working the way I wanted it, but thats to be expected. I'm a bit puzzled by people who want to OC, but can't be bothered to setup their system properly.

I have a A8n-Delux. Workes fine. Havent got around to oc'ing the prosesser yet. Seems like a bit to much bother to me.

My DFI LanParty NF3-250 has been solid as rock and taken all sorts of abuse from me from serious OCs (350HTT with divder and 325HTT 1:1) plus been mounted under a Mach II GT and had water cooling as well....

I was so impressed I have order the DFI Ultra-D as a replacement...

As long as you use a decent BIOS and follow the instructions you should have no problems.

At least DFI support team actually help in the forums and usually resolve the issues the same day...

Yeah, it worked. Worked alot better with tweaking though, just like anything.

DFI NF4 is the best. Period. You can also hack it and turn it into a SLI board. Then all you need is a SLI bridge and you're all set.
