    Dell PC Price check :)

    Dell dimension 3000

    1.7Ghz Celeron
    48X CDRW
    2 X 256 PC3200 RAM
    80GB 7200 RPM
    Dell mouse/keyboard
Windows XP Home SP2 integrated plus a bunch of free software it came with

Basically new a week ago, and has never used or registered, just wondering what its worth, it was a pretty decent spec but I downgraded the CPU as whoever uses it, or has it off me won't use it for games as theres no AGP slot, so I thought I'd keep the CPU for my PC and devalue to PC a bit.

    Whats it worth guys?

I dont want to make money on it really, 200 is more than fine Not sure if I'd get it tho ? I'd have put it at a bit less than 200 myself, but then again, I dont know all that much

    Smile

The only downside I can see is the lack of a combo drive . DVD/CDRW would have been nicer for watching the odd DVD while browsing.

Do you have a screen you could sell with it?

Find a 17" screen and put it on your work notice board or free-ads for £200 and you will get it I am sure. On the forums I think £140+ is the right ball park as it would make a great firewall or little Linux server. That's what I am keeping my eye out for a slightly higher spec 3000 for.
