32500marks is nothing to write home about, most of us are on 40k now.

    try a real mans benchmark, 03 / 05

nice clocks btw. // ducking for cover.

Got a 40000 3D Mark link then? I get with 30000 on air with this at 2.6GHz which I think is a great score for a stock card!

Anyway 3D Mark 2001 is still the best all-round benchmark as it tests the whole system unlike 3D'03 and 3D'05 which is all about the graphics card.

So come on lets see you back up your claims....

EDIT: Here is all the 40k+ 3D Marks in 2001 out there

Only two pages worth...where do you sit?

Seems to max out at 2850 - stable anyway, which i guess is FX57.5 Although im still getting to grips with the memory settings on this DFI board, im sure theres a few things in there i can change which will give it some extra welly.
The wide range of memory timings is the best feature of the DFI baords. I spent a weak working out what was fastest for my system and the pefromance boost was enormous.

Here is what I am using:

All set in the BIOS, of course.

The DQS skew does effectively nothing, so you can ignore it.

That tREF nemuber is 4172 in the BIOS, I beleive. It is the fastest setting, as it forces the memory to refesh least often, and ther for interupts what it is doing less often.

Write CAS delay has to be 1, or the systme will not boot. You can jsut leave it on auto it makes no difference.

Trfc and Trtw are probably the two most important factors.

You will NOT see a big jump in sandras worthless buffered memory test. You WILL see a benifit in latency and memory write speeds, wich are far more important for real performance.

Here is what I am geting with my memory at 241MHz, timings as above otherwise:

Not bad for single channle DDR490.

Having said that i'm also waiting for my Enermax Coolergiant PSU to get here as this £14 QTEC piece of s**t i don't trust as with any of my hardware

Im using a zalman reserator for mine, sits about 32-33C idle and 45-46 full load at 2.8.

Max VCore ive been to is 1.6, my chip also dosent like the 11x divider, so im 10x280 for day to day running.

Thanks for the mem settings oral - im still trying to find a good mesh or stability and performance, i dont have the patience to change one thing at a time with my ram.

Im hoping a new bios comes out that allows me to run okay at 11x, but i cant get anywhere near 2.8 with 11x oddly.

Might have to try the 10x multi passing S&M at 1.52v but fails prime. As long as its game session stable then i'm easy this isn't a folding rig atall just for games and work

    Currently 2.75 (11*250) here

i was getting random reboots the first few days, but im totally stable now. Was annoying as I could prime for a few hours okay, then crash 15 mins into a game. I slackened a few timings, and now its running sweet as a nut at 2.8 24/7. Ive got a couple of silenx fans coming in the next few days, which should see me get another little bit out of it, as my board temp is a little high just now, and running my noisy fan brought that down and had it stable at better timings.

40k isn't happening without phasechange. You could probably do it with a 3700+ at 3GHz with PC on an X800 or X850 XT PE. Not with a regular X850 XT and water. Nope!

Still sitting at 2.75GHz here but will try for more after my exams are over and got some free time.

Also going to try the 510 Beta BIOS soon as well which is supposed to be better
