    You guys realise it's not just the price, lack of OS/app support for 64bit nor lack of maturity that are the biggest reasons NOT to buy Athlon64 right? Currently there are 754pin (Athlon64 Single Channel DDR) and 940pin (Opteron/AthlonFX Dual Channel) but the one that will take off for consumers is 939pin (Athlon64 Dual Channel DDR) which will work out better in cost, speed and longevity by quite a long way. Wait for 939pin and their prices to settle down, you don't want to Slot things now do you?
