    Formating Drives

    I have just added a new ATA100 drive to my computer and was wondering what everyone uses to format and partition the drive while in windows. I have heard of various programs that can do this but can't remember any off the top of my head.

    If that means it's an extra drive that needs formatting, why not just use Windows' Disk Management?

    Windows Disk Management. Unless you're doing anything special you need nothing more than what's already provided by the OS.
