    Price Check: Ultra Budget System

    Hello,

Right I have the following to price up as one system:

AMD K6-2 450Mhz Processor with coolermaster HSF
    Chaintech CT-5SSV Micro ATX Motherboard
    64Mb of PC100 SDRAM
    48x CD-Rom
    8.4GB Samsung Hard Drive
    Floppy Drive
Onboard Sound as well as Sound Blaster 16 ISA card
    Onbaord Graphics (SiS530/620)
Mini-Tower case with one free CD-Rom Slot and one free floppy drive slot
    PSU power cable
    Basic PS2 Keyboard and Mouse

Other features include, PS2 Keyboard and mouse connectors, all the other standard connectors (serial, printer, vga). Unusually for a motherboard of this age it has 2 x USB ports. 4 x PCI slots and 1 x ISA slot. Can include genuine copy of windows 95 with manual and disc if necessary. Runs XP (slowly of course), ideal for web browsing and office type work.

    Image: What there is

So what price I'm likely to get excluding postage? I'm not expecting much, but any rough idea would be good.

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards,

    Mark

umm.. one of the main stuff thats keeping u back is dat you only had onboard graphics.. K6-II isn't that much of a killer legacy.. if u had sumthing like a K6-III 550Mhz.. might be able to sell it as a vintage performance CPU as it has obviously made its mark on the history books as one of the very few intel PIII killer cpu..

I would reckon 70 quids for the whole system.. at best...
    Me want Ultrabook
