just to clarify - did you have the problem before you went to bios 1.50? It seems that some people have been going back to 1.40 as 1.50 has been causing problems with cool n' quiet (even if its not enabled)

i didnt try overclocking the system when i was using bios 1.10.
i directly updated to 1.50 then.
on trying to overclock i got this problem..
if you think the new bios could be the culprit then i have 1.40...shall i try that??????
