    Zalman reserator temps

Hello all have just fitted the new reserator 1 plus kit to my pc and was wondering if anyone could give advice on what temps i should be getting as this is my first watercool. My uGURU clock say s the cpu is at 51c and my expertool software says my 6800GT is 55c . This seems a bit high is the reserator struggling or is the two sources giving suspect readings ? The CPU is a 3500+ at stock speeds and the GT is overclocked to 400 / 1100
    Cheers for any advice

55 on GT seems normal.... 51 on a 3500+ seems a little high

Zalman Reserator wasnt engineered to be super cooler from the start... the performance should be roughly identical to a vanilla AMD reference HSF... Reserator was supposed to be a silent (ohh sooo silent) cooling solution..

wait... 51 deg... are u talking about load temps? or idle... My 3500+ only runs 47C during load..

Looking at this review they seem about right:

The reserator really isn't a performance radiator as its passively cooled. If you want something that looks nice and is silent its great but it can't dissapate a lot of heat unfortunately.

Yeah thats why i got it mate silence really is golden after having a Gainward 6800gt in my right ear for the last year. Using the Abit 3rd Eye have heard there readings of temps aint always the most accurate ?

Yeah i know it isnt for serious overclocking but i only overclock the graphics card up to ultra speeds not beyond and really wanted silence as i leave the pc on for long spells and the fan noise was killing me especially the red monster on the gainward. Just wanted to check i had installed it ok and wastnt frying my card and cpu , cheers
