    HDD is it 2mb or 8mb??

    Hi peeps

    Ive just brought a HDD of ebay it was advertised as a sealed Maxtor diamondmax plus 9 250gb ata HDD 8mb?
    Now ive checked the HDD writing and cant c where it states its 8mb? i dont wanna open it cuz of returning if it isnt how do i find out?

    It's free and benchmarks your HDD. It tells cache size in KB in the Info tab.

    thats a pretty impressive program - wasn't aware of any that could tell you all that info without opening the bag

    I've got a 160GB DiamondMax 9, I'm sure it's 8MB, but I can't remember now!
