    PCMCIA Adaptors for a desktop?

My access to the internet is through a 3G PCMCIA Datacard. I currently have it in the side of my laptop and both my laptop and desktop are connected through a wire with the internet connection shared.

In an ideal world I would find some USB PCMCIA adaptor so that I could connect it to my desktop, or a PCI PCMCIA adaptor + PCI USB one.

It's confusing, but I want a PCMCIA slot for my desktop, and I don't have any spare 3.5"/5.25"/PCI slots.

Does anybody know what exists and/or where it could be found?

    Thanks!

Seen loads of PCI versions. They're all over eBay and my mate bought one very cheaply not too long ago.

I can't give you much help, but a USB adapter for PCMCIA cards does exist.
I can give you this link as a starting point and proof that they exist, but that's all I know, I'm afraid!
