    Celeron M in Abit IS7 won't work!?

I got a couple of C1 Celeron M (Mobile) CPUs today a 1.7Ghz and a 2.0Ghz 256KB cache, but neither work in my IS7 but work fine in an IT7 Max 2 (or whatever it is).

ANyone know if this is a BIOS fix issue for the IS7 or a chipset issue generally with the i865 chipset?

    Cheers,

    MM

    - Supports Intel® Pentium® 4 Socket 478 processors (800/533MHz FSB)
    - Supports Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology

    From :http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/...ies=1&model=79
So i guess not, the chipset does'nt support celerons. Where as your IT7 Max 2 does.

Not quite m8, all i865 mobos support 400FSB CPUs and the Abit IS7 / IC7 ranges support them for sure, I've run P4Ms in em before (but not in this actual IS7) and I've got a NW 1.8Ghz here that works fine in it.

I've flashed to latest BIOS and no change, damn shame as I was hoping for some good clocks on these.

    Cheers,
