    Thank You

I've been meaning to post this for two months or so now, but, I just wanted to say thanks to those who helped me choose the right components for my PC. I recently built a PC with the following specifications:

    AMD 64 3700+ San Diego
    Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
2x BFG 6800GT OC in SLI
    1GB Corsair PC3200 Ram
    Enermax 600W SLI PSU
    Seagate 200GB Hard Drive
    LG DVD+-RW Writer
    Silverstone TJ05 Case

Recently, however, both my BFG 6800GT OCs died. After returning them both to OCUK, who proved to be very slow, and ultimately back to BFG, I received a refund for the two cards.

    Here's the fun part.

The price of my 6800GTs when I bought them was £270, so I just bought two Leadtek 7800GT Extreme MyVivo cards to replace them. . Also to replace the stock heatsink I bought an Asetek Vapochill Micro Ultra Low Noise heatsink.

Everything runs brilliantly, and without your help I'd be no where! So thanks again... I may post some pictures of it soon.

Lol, Tobeman you've obviously never used a 3700+ San Diego, they're viciously fast. Most are ex-FX-55 chips. Mine is incredible, it handled a 10% overclock without any trouble at all, a 1 degree temp rise was the only difference. With some gentle work it'll run at 2.6GHz (FX-55 speed!!)

I dont know how big the performance gap is between a GT and a GTX, however..

THE GTX is only worth having if you run at insane resoloutions, at lower res the GT is often quicker.
