    Question BEST AGP Gfx Card?

I want to upgrade my 9800pro (running past xt speeds with artic cooler etc)...
i do NOT want PCI-E or 64BIT... so what gfx card can i get that will produce even tastier high res gfx in F.E.A.R and Quake4?
    cheers

EDIT: I do overclock.. so if i could get a lower model and clock the crap outta it and fit a different cooler in order to save cash then enlighten me... is the 6800le the right choice and if so which model? or a card with the AGP potential of the PCI-E X800GTO?

radeonx850 and geforce6800gt/ultra are the best you will get on AGP, depends what you can get, the 6800gt should overclock to ultra speeds wuite easily. and in somegames the x850 is faster in some cases the 6800 avaliability is the big thing with agp at the moment, as the latest chips havent been released on agp prices have also risen.

I think a 6800GT, poss second hand, would be your best bet.

There isnt any 7800 AGPs unfortunately.

The 6800XT may be more readily available.

I've just bought a 6800, not le, not xt, not gt or ultra. Waiting on delivery, but should be here soon. I'll let you know how the overclock goes. Reviews from people who bought it before me said it unlocked easily, and the ocd to clock/mem speeds past that of a GT. Dunno bout ultra though, and one bloke had artifacts on opening all of the pipelines, but got a massive overclock. Wierd.

I would try and save up for a 6800GT if I could... unless you have great faith in unlocking the card/pipes

Look at the X800GTO at lowestonweb for £115 (http://www.lowestonweb.com/Products/...-CF0C1E90C50D). Or Ebuyer have an Asus 6800 for £95+vat+delivery.

You can't seem to get 6800GT's anymore for AGP.

that X800GTO is gonna be bought on friday if they got any of the 17left (fingerscrossed) what do you reckon i can unlock it to people? if i were to not to overclock would it still be worth it as i currently have a 9800pro....
EDIT: Can i use this method for my agp card? http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/82...ure/index.html obviously within reason i.e. getting agp bios version etc not pci-e...
ALSO: what kind of benchmarks will i achieve with it stock?
