I've built my second office machine, using the Sonata II instead of the P180 which I used for the first machine. Overall I am happy with it, although the difference in price between it and the P180 is not great enough; either the P180 should cost more or the Sonata II less.
However, the inner PSU fan is running at 5400rpm according to SpeedFan whilst the outer PSU fan is off (as I would expect). The machine is cool inside with the standard 120mm fan on the back of the case on low, so I don't understand why the PSU fan is flat out.
I have connected the three-wire fan cable to the Mobo as per the instructions! It's an ASUS A8n-SLI Delux. Are there any prefered fan headers on this mobo?
Can anyone suggest anything else?
Thanks
Martin
