Thermalright XP-90 and similar - suck or blow?

Simple really, I have a Thermalright heatsink on my CPU with a 92mm fan on top. It extends over the pots behind my S939 CPU.

Suck air up from the pots and into the path of the 120mm fan next to it?
    or
Blow air onto the pots from "above" and let it find its way to the fan?

Every rig is different so the best thing to do would be to test yourself. Off the top of my head I believe blowing is better.

Run something like s&m or prime95 for half an hour or so and compare the temperatures of sucking vs blowing. Which ever one gives you better temps is the winner. The difference will be minimal, maybe a degree either way.
