    Talking Just Got My Barton 2500+

    Just got my new cpu but the MB did not turn up as thay forgot to send it
    Any way my new cpu code is this
    AXDA2500DKV4D 9845297270536
    AQZEA 0332 TPMW

    i take it that this 1 is a good 1 .
    Ihope so anyway

    Err yeah that is definately a good chip. I have one and took it all the way up to 2.6ghz on air using 1.725v but it wasn't Prime95 stable So had to drop back to 2.4ghz

    Still a very nice chip. You should get at least 2.4ghz out of it on air as long as the rest of the hardware is good

    YER its going with a ABIT NF7-S V2.0
    and 1 gig of ddr ram but dont no what to get as yet

    Only got 2ghz out of mine but i left the voltage as stock. Happy with that though! all the increase was on the fsb practically.

    EDIT: Steppings are confusing.

    This site claims suggest that "AQZEA" is the best.

    Ive got an "AQZFA" does 200fsb straight out the box at 3200+ speeds, and is very stable and good temps.

    CPU City sold the AQZFA until today I think..
    As I checked today, they shifted to AQZEA.. Did they run out of the AQZFA or is the AQZEA newer? (the former sounds more likely, 'F' comes after 'E').

    i got mine to day from CPU City the guy i was chating to side that this chip is newer then the AQZFA dont see how but.
    Any way he all so side that this chip is a realy good code as there going to start to garrente the chips be good overclockers hops this helps you out m8
