    another shuttle sb61g2 v3 smart fan problem

    Hi Everybody

    This is my first post; I hope I've found the right place...

    Recently the fan in my ICE unit has stopped running entirely. I'm using the latest BIOS and I've tried setting the fan to full in both BIOS setup and XPC tools. I took the fan out and tested it and it seems to run fine when fed 9V.

    The CPU is running really hot (I think) - it's at 78 degrees right now... I think I'll turn it off.

    Any ideas? Has my mainboard just given up (after only 10 months!)?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
