    Ease off, even if stable?

So, my system broke, and I mentioned I was running my Crucial RAM (512mb DIMM of PC3200, DDR400) at 5/2/2/2.5, perfectly stable.

Now, a lot of people said that Crucial RAM couldn't handle those settings, and a few even said it might have been the faulty part. It wasn't: the GPU had gone, taking out the motherboard.

Now, in a few days, when the systems up and running again, do I ease off on these settings, or keep them, seeing as the system is stable with those settings?

If you're stabel then you're stable, just avoid leaving things too near the absolute limit. Of course you can play i safe, diffs between may not be worth any risk, your call.
