    Updating the BIOS

    I have a SS51G and would like to update my BIOS but i do not have a floppy drive, is it possible to use a cd or do i have to have a floppy installed?

    What format is your hard drive? Fat32 or NTFS?

    If its fat32 you could save the flash to HDD, boot from a WIN98 CD into Dos and away you go.

    NTFS is the New Technology File System used by the likes of NT4, Windows 2000 and XP.

    Right click your drive in my computer and select properties and it'll tell you which format your drive is in

    U can even buy one as they are dirt cheap.
