9600 Pro Atlantis Ultimate??

any one know if the Sapphire RADEON 9600 PRO ATLANTIS ULTIMATE 128MB will fit in a SN45G? iam not sure if this will make the inside hotter or if i should go with one with a fan ( not like air is gonna go anywhere )... it would be nice to have a card in my shuttle without a fan making noise.
HAha this is kinda funny = ) i found a 9500pro for 209USD... about 40 bucks more then the 9600pro.. now iam confused dont know which one i want

Yes either card should fit with no problems. But go for one with a fan its cheaper and easier and they arent that loud. Inevitably adding a fast 3d card will make the inside of the case hotter but this is what the sn45 is built for.

9500pro is slightly faster than the newer 9600pro. Not enough to justify the extra imo

9500Pro is better in AA/AF situations than the 9600 models due to the 8-pipelines - Def go for the 9500 over the 9600

1) You can't buy 9500 Pros New (some of us like warranties) [at least in the UK].
2) You can't buy passivly cooled 9500 Pros out of the box.
3) 9600 Pros use less power, thus being well suited to SFFs.

Sorry got abit tetchy there. Seems everytime I've ever posted about a Sapphire 9600 pro Ultimate some one pipes up about how the 9500pro is better and I should get one of those. However it is relevant to this conversation as the 9500 pro is an option. Shuttle boxes don't seem that quiet so, a 9500 pro (or a cheap 9700/9800 non pro) would seem a good move. The Shuttles can definatly take them as a friend has a 9700 pro in his no bother. Sorry about my troll like earlier comment.

Evildocs main question is will the ultimate edition 9600pro fit in a shuttle sff (sn45g) ? so does anyone know for sure, will it fit?

The pwer usage of the graphics is rarely an issue in shuttle systems. You can run 9800pros no problem. Its really not a concern. For ref the 9600pro doesnt need plugging in to the psu
