    5.1 Surround Sound Problem

Rite, since i upgraded my PC at xmas i thought id get this seen to finally. Since i got the speakers and my first PC 4 and a bit years ago, the 5.1 sound hasnt worked, no idea why. I had a SoundBlaster Live which should support 5.1. In my new system i have a Audigy 1 which supports 5.1, yet to no avail.
These are the speakers i have are Inspire 5.1 5200.

The 5 Speakers plug in to the subwoofer and then 3 wires plug into my sound card. It didnt work on my old pc, and doesnt work now. When i use the creative diagnostics test to test the layout of the speakers, it should go thru them "front left front right front center back right back left" Mines says "front left front right front center" which all play on correct speakers. Then nothing, but the tests still running on my PC. In games if i set it to 5.1 sound, only the front left / right play, the front center doesnt.

    Any help? :s

Needs new monitor / speakers / headphones / keyboard.

Both the sound card control panel and windows own sound control panel are set to 5.1 right?

as my card makes windows default to 2 speakers every reboot (very annoying).

I had it set to 5.1, but went into just now and it was set to side speakers (2). Set it back to 5.1 but still no avail.

Anything else i can do? Could it be my soundcards ive used? Should i just get a new speaker system? Is it to do with analog/digital sound problems (i have no clue about this).
