XP Pro BSOD - Broken cpu, maybe?

I keep getting this error when booting into Windows XP Pro:

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA

    Technical info:

    *** STOP: 0x00000050 (0xF865FFAC, 0x00000000, 0x8050D282, 0x00000000)
I've tried reinstalling XP Pro, Win98, RedHat, and Mandrake, but none of them will even get past the copying installation files. So I'm guessing it isn't a software problem?

This has happened all of a sudden, no hardware upgrades or anything. I was running UD on it overnight, and when I came back in the morning, I had the BSOD.

    The system is:

    Duron 800
    Asus A7V8X-X
    512MB PC2700
    2x Maxtor 40GB, 5400rpm
    Philips 2x4x8 CDRW
    Asetek Waterchill cpu Watercooler

Does anyone have any idea what I can do about it? I've tried reseating all the components, etc, booted with each component seperately. Same happens every time, though :/

    Help, please?

Yeah, I had a waterchill lying around after I swapped it for a dangerden kit in my main pc. I thought I might as well make good use of it by silencing what would be my server (if I can get it sorted!).

I haven't managed to have a look at temps other than in bios when I first turn it on, and just before it went "lala". Temps were around 50C whilst UD crunching, as I didn't want to run it with a fan. When I leave it on the bios screen, the temps go upto around 45C.

The temps could have possibly gone up a little during the night, as the central heating comes on, and gets quite warm at around 5am :/

I'll the cpu a test on my NF7-S, and the mobo a test with another cpu... Any problem that's occured is most likely down to my own stupidity, although, at the time of writing the initial post, I hadn't thought about the heat factors etc.

You run Memtest on that stick of RAM?
What timings you got the memory at?
