not possible to change cpu vcore on an asus a7n8x dx?

    hello

    pc as per sig.

oced to 200 * 10.5 fine (don't play that many games and i just wanted to make halo super smooth).

well i wanted to go for 11.5 * 200 but it seems my vcore is stuck at 1.85v? and i would ideally want to up that to 1.9. the thing is i can't seem the change it. setting vcore to manual from auto lets you change it, but the only option IS 1.85, i.e. i can't increase or decrease it .

    any ideas?

From what i can remember, the vcore only goes up to 1.85 on this board....the Abit goes to 1.9 i think maybe more.

Have you tried a bios flash? Sometimes on the mobo specific forums you find peeps writing custom bios's that often enable extra settings not allowable by official bios releases.

only the rev2 nf7-s goes higher, upto 2.35 :OOOOOOOO

1.85 is max for most boards, as amd doesnt make cpus anymore that need more than that at defualt. a simple volt mod will fix, search on google for one, youll probably need a multimeter, a pencil, a 5 or 10k POT some wire and a SMD grabber, which can all be found on www.maplin.co.uk though i expect you have a pencil already....
