    SN41G2 + combination PVR cards?

    Hi again!

Having sorted out my various SN25P problems I'm going to use my SN41G2 as a PVR. I've got it set up and working with the tv fine all installed and waiting for PVR functionality.

My question is: is there an AGP card that allows PVR (ie Freeview TV display/recording) functionality, or will I have to (as I had first assumed) buy a PCI PVR card (for example a Winfast DVT1000T) and a seperate AGP card for output to my TV at decent speeds? I want to buy a fairly good decent GFX card for output as I'd like to put some games through to the tv also, so I wondered if there was a card out there that would provide both in one.

    Thanks for your help!

If I could find an AGP card, I am really not sure it would be a good idea. There is a PCI-e all-in-wonder card that Microdirect were advertising for 115 quid (X800 based) but I have not seen an AGP version.

Have you considered USB freeview adaptors? You even get the advantage that you could add more later for multiple tuners, and it leaves your PCI card slot free and lets you choose the best AGP card you can find for quiet graphics.
