Misleading. The Audigy 4 Pro and the Audigy 4 is not quite the same thing. The vanilla Audigy 4 has more to do with the Audigy 2 than the Audigy 4 Pro. The later has some good DAC/op-amp which makes it one of the better card for music playback.Originally Posted by Merlin4458

Got my XFI Xtreme Music and Listening to a selection of MP3's I can safely say it makes Onboard sound a little like listening to headphones through 2 flannels
A worthy investment me thinks.
I gotthe X-F Fatal1ty and WOW! I will never settle for onboard audio again! The 24-bit crystalizer makes mp3s sound awsome! Love it to bits with my logitech z2300 speakers both the soundcard and speakers are THX certified!

Been hunting for a soundcard as well.. I'm mostly using headphones for anythign really.... those phillips wireless bits.. will X-Fi improve on this?
I too is using onboard sound..
Me want Ultrabook
It has options to make the best sound settings possible for headphones.. although i have yet to test it!
