Just bought the Ninja Plus (comes with a fan) from Scan.
Running with the supplied fan @ 30% and set to come on to 100% at 40C. It only does this if running a CPU benchmark - normal load temp maxes out at 39C with the fan at 30%!
In summary, a great cooler, but a bit of a bugger to install - difficult to get to the clips (although they are quite easy to clip on). Also putting the fan on with the supplied clips was a challenge.
I'm using the standard thermal goop that came with it - it's the same stuff that Antec sells (not silver though).
Oh, and mine is a 146 as well - nice CPU.
wats ur chip at stock
?
Remember the Ninja backplate is an adhesive one and near enough impossible to remove unless your motherboard doesn't require it. I believe some if not all Asus boards have a compatible standard backplate.
