I currently have a P4 2.8ghz northwood processor - non hyper threading. Would I notice any improvement to preformance if this was changed to a P4, 3.06ghz northwood with hyper threading. This is the fastest processor my Mboard can take.

Probabily not enough differnece when you consider the price paid, but if thats the best you can get without a full upgrade and it gives you a few more happy months then give it a try.

Probably not any noticeable difference to the naked eye, more than likely noticeable in benchmarks though.

Ya would be better off saving or splashing out on a higher speed chip if your a gamer id go Amd 64
