    OC'ing 2800+

Currently OC'ed to 1698mhz and running at 28c, in general use.

Just wandering what is a safe temp to keep it below?

Any other OC'ing tips for this chip?

did you lower the speed of the memory first? you dont want that to become unstable while youre focussing on the chip

and when you want to test the stability download prime95 or stress prime 2004 (same thing really)

that will show whether any miscalculations are being made by the chip now that its OCed (that means crashes and corrupted HDD data)

if it runs for 6 hours straight its fairly acceptable, but usually at that point you can knock down the fsb by a couple of mhz and it will boost the stability to maybe 48 hours which is fine

you want the small FTT test for stability and the large FTT test to check what the temperatures will reach when youre running at 100% cpu load (use a windows prog to monitor it)
