any one got one of these yet? personally i think it would crowd your PC too much, although it would make a great skt 7 cooler!

LOL! Got to be needless overkill, probably for posers with big windows in their case. A good passive solution is more than sufficient. Well unless you go mad and even then a decent active solution is all that's needed.
I dread to think of the cost of one of those!
Not a bad idea. 3 fan settings is always nice.... anyone know the price? Its gotta be around the £30+ mark?!
It can't be more than £20 as the aero's (larger fan) sell for about that much.
I concur! That's ridiculous!Originally posted by unts
LOL, I could overclock my Athlon if I stuck that on it, let alone my northbridge!

wonder if its as bad as there cpu heatsinks
zalman on my NB thanks very much
Fan Speed H: 9000±10% RPM
M: 7000±10% RPM
L: 5000±10% RPM
9000rpm on a ~40mm fan, that would make your ears bleed i'm sure!
prolly more of a gimmick than anything - do zalman make a nb heatsink for p4 mobos, because as i dont like the annoying whine of my p4 nb fan i've unplugged it , the heatsink (which is quite big anyway - its a is7-e mobo) gets warm, but not hot, but then again its not doing anything other than running eMule , just thought maybe a zalman-type passive NB cooler would be better than a stock one without a fan..
mark
Zalman...where from? i need to get a replacement
Got my Zalman from The Cooling Shop

Cheers for the linky, looks mean nowt 2 me in a closed case quietness is the key
All that noise and expense for only a maximum of 3cfm? You'd get more than that with a wet fart aimed at the side of the case..
/me yells "GIMMICK!" and runs for the hills...
