Antec Aria - noisy !

Got one for my HTPC setup and it's a bit noisy.
Looking for any advice from owners on how they quietened theirs down.......PSU fan swap ? Chassis fan swap ?

Any help appreciated.

yeah mine was a little nosier than expected. I changed my PSU for a seasonic when it became time to upgrade and the seasonic is far quiet, panaflo fans might be an idea as well

Are you sure you're thinking of the Antec Aria.....? It has a custom PSU that cannot be swapped for a standard one. I believe the fan can be swapped though.

Are Panaflo fans as quiet as SilenX ?

SilenX aren't that quiet... they're certainly nowhere near what SilenX claim (14db and silly-high CFM). I'd be heading the Nexus way, or Yate Loon if you don't mind a bit of ebaying from Germany.

Panaflo are very good but not sure how they compare to silent x cause ive never used them

I'm looking at the Acoustifan Dustless 120mm fans now, which look awesome spec at 7v ! Think I'll replace the case fan and PSU fan with these bad boys and take it from there...
