    Intersting.

    Well I'll check to see what it's like at 2-3-3-7 tonight it'd be nice to have the tighter timings if they're possible.

    Many thanks again -ChEM- I won't have to ask half as many questions when it comes to OC'ing my next build

    I had a quick mess upping the voltage to 1.5v tonight just to see if I could get a little higher stable clock and low and behold;

    2 and half hours in Prime, no errors, I'll run it overnight though just to be double sure but it seems pretty damned stable to me.

    I'm so impressed with the Opteron 148, I would've been happy with 2.6Ghz, so to get it this far *and* completely stable is fantastic.

    What a truly amazing chip.

    38-40 on idle, 48 on burn. Not too bad for air cooling I thought

    [Edit] Ran a further 9 and a half hours of Prime overnight which was also error free, I think it's safe to say it's stable.

    mine does that kind of thing to, it would end up somewhere around the 2.74 mark if i really tried but in the end the voltage can be so much lower at 2.7 i leave it there

    voltage is the thing that lowers the life of the chip most, temperature isnt that bad as long as its reasonable
