But crossfire seems more tempamental. Having to have the exact same version cards and having to pay the extra for the master card. It sounds easier to keep my options open with SLi. Seems a lot more flexible if I wanted to just whack in another gpu in say 6-12 months time.
same version!? You don't need the same version of card, you can mix and match but it will only go as fast as your slowest card.
