    New CPU suggestions....

I've had my rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishty old 1.4 athlon for 2 yrs now, and its starting to show its age, so i feel its time for an upgrade.

Prob gonna get the abit nf7-s mobo, as it seems 2b the best around atm, but i dno wat CPU 2 get

Any suggestions? I think the 1700+ lks gd value for money, especially seeing as friends have oc it to ova 2ghz

Are there better processors for that amount of money?

    not for that money....

The 1700+ JUIHB DLT3C is the one to look for though.... cpucity.co.uk let you specify the core that you get and will be able to buy one of these... unfortunalty i hear that they are currently out of stock....

If you want the most for your money, these are the chips to get!

EDIT: you can still order them and they will be shiped to you when stock is avail i belive

I dont think they would take the order off your habds if the shipment was far off..... did you order the mobo as well ?

Also as another question, what ram are you/do you plan to use in this setup? it can and probably will make the difference of getting a good overclock or not...
