Sound Blaster Live Drive compatability

Hi,

My old PC had the Sound Blaster 5.1 Platinum, a very nice sound card and a really useful drive bay which I used for headphones.
I've just put together my new PC and have used the Audigy 2 ZS as my sound card.
Would the live drive from my old card be compatable with the new card?

No idea, but to be honest Parm thats a question for Creative, not us if you ask me. Send them an e-mail or give them a call.

From over at the creative forums, A couple of the creative techies have said that this is a definite no-no - they changed the signaling on Audigy 2s from the earlier Lives and Audigy 1s - presumably to support 24/96.
