    Overclocking Help needed

    The Specs:
    Abit NF7-S v2
    2x512 2700 Twinmoss
    2100+ XP
    Rad 9700 Pro
    VapoPE
    Antec 550W PSU
The problem in a nut shell - wont overclock anymore!!

It used to run fine at 13*185 = 2405. I tried to change the CPU to a better one, Was no good. Now when ever i try to overclock it'll start to boot and then the whole system will just turn off. It wont boot again until i unplug it from the mains for a few secs.

Anyone knows WTF's going on here?

I basically tried to change it from my originl 2100 to a 1700 which turned out to be dead. So I'm now back to my original chip. So absolutly nothing has changed.

Hell the damn thing won't even do 2.1 ghz at 2v !!

so, are you saying that you used to run the 2100 @ 2405, then tried the dead 1700, and when you put the 2100 back in it won't even do 2.1?

Do you think it could be my PSU?

Just put 2v through it at default speeds etc, and it turned off again!

Is the heatsink on properly? As you have taken it off and re fittred it, is the thermal goo OK?
