Looks huge...
Single chip requiring an SLI powerplant is a little excessive.. i.e. 2x6pin PCI-E molex connectors..

Me want Ultrabook
2x75W connectors, on top of the 75W from the PCIe x16 connector?
So less that 225W in total then, just not trying hard enough IMHO. Don't they know it's winter and I'm getting cold?
The length gets me. look at the end of the PCI-e connector to the back of the board, it just goes on and on. going to be some fun had getting that in certain motherboards and cases.
shoudnt be too much hassle for my AX8.. well, that's if they support it..
but again, 2xPCI-E power for a single chip card is just too much..
I can imagine the noise on that thing will possibly rival the 5800Ultra..
Me want Ultrabook
What gtets me on that is the cable routing for both the PCI-e cables running to it, its going to be near impossible to get it in anything bigger than an eclipse because the cables and connectors will be coming straight out towards the side of the case. Although I doubt it will be long before someone gets one in a shuttle.

Should silence all the nVidia fanbois that harp on about ATI being 'loud'

Or a mixture of all four until the fan fails which then the only noise is someone sobbing at their £400 Graphics card sits there smoldering.... Or the fire brigade coming out as the 4 gang extension plugged into the 3 way plug socket has sparked and caught fire because of the massive power draw from the mains.
And sod being hardwired into the mains, just go green man, have your system linked directly to solar power or wind turbine!

Meh however load it is I still won't hear it over the fans on my main PC
I wonder if 3dmark 2007 will come out at the same time as this. I agree that the cooler looks like it'll sound like a scooter with no exhaust. It will fit in any case with a dremel, dead easy.
The big question is... how much is it gonna cost? (unless I didn't read the link properly and it already gives a price )
With love and many thanks,
Melons
Just imagine running a pair of those suckers for SLI.
"Houston, we have lift off!"
