    Pc vibrating alot :(

    Just built my new system

    main parts; Case nzxt lexa
And core2duo with intel stock cooler

on top of a glass table (a bit wobbely if moved about)

The vibration runs though the floor and can be heard downstairs.

When i lift the base unit up temperaroly stops the noise downstaris. but i can still hear the buzz.

So my guess is should i buy a new cpy cooler? (prefere not to ALOT of hassle for me fitting )

Outher then that would some sort of anti-vibration mat under it fix it?
Sorry for the ramble im new to this area of pc's

    Thanks in advance for replys

open the case, stop the fans one by one by placing your finger in the middle to avoid the fan blades, when the vibration stops, you found the bad fan.

IF it's not an errant fan - try sticking the case ontop of a folded towel

Sounds like a fan with a bent or broken blade. Poke them all as suggested.

My friends got a lexa and his vibrated like hell, his problem was the window fan shaking the plexi glass, The Window wasnt stuck down as secure as it could of been and was shaking resulting in the most annoying noise and vibrations.
See if your window is slightly loose, if not then its gotta be one of the fans

Resit the HSF maybe? This happened with my old Thermalright XP120 (coupled with a 35mm thick and heavy Panaflo 120mm on top of it)

The HSF kinda sent the vibration (because XP120's design means large fin area heatpiped to a small copper base) to the Socket, then to the mobo tray, then the case in general.

I solved it by putting the whole thing on a cardbard box. (or could be fixed with using a lower rated and less shaky fan, but I love my Panaflos )

I know where you are coming from Agent

It could be the HSF, but unlikely, I've got a 92mm Silverstone on a SI-97 and it doesn't cause any untoward vibrations (and this is a SoA heatsink, so is clipped on )

Umm i think he glued it im not sure try tightening the screws if thats possible,
I asked Dood (NZXT case designer) a while back about this issue and he said they are all tested before shipment, and it may have been losened during transportation. Try tightening what you can if not go to www.nzxt.com/forum and make a new thread, and see what they have to say.
    Good luck.

EDIT- Have you got the side fan installed?? If you have try unplugging it to see if that helps, if it does try replacing the fan or do the above.

OK good luck read some of the above comments, its more than likely HDD's or the side fan vibrating the window.
