Griffin PowerWave.

It's a USB Audio Interface & desktop amplifier.

Basically its a USB Soundcard that you can connect unpowered stereo speakers too.

So i've plugged my sony speakers into the speaker breakout junction box....

But i get no sound from them.... The device has no software apart from drivers on the CD. All channels are at 100% volume and none are muted. If i plug my headphones into the headphone port the sound works fine. But no sound from my stereo speakers. Do you think this desktop amplifier isn't powerful enough to power my stereo speakers? Even though the device is hosted powered I have tried putting the 12v power cable into it too, thinking it may give it a power boost. No joy though. Any idea's before I contact Griffin?
